One plan. One private link. The same rules for both people.
Create the plan, choose the commitment level, send the link, then show up and check in.
Create the plan
Add the venue, date, time, and commitment level. The venue name appears first so there is no confusion about where the plan is happening.
Send one private link
Your guest opens the link in a browser. The link is intended for one accepted guest and locks after acceptance.
Both people commit
Each person sees the same hold, service fee, cancellation cutoff, check-in deadline, and consequences before confirming.
Show up and check in
Use temporary GPS at arrival, with the approved 4-digit code backup when GPS is unreliable and both people are present.
Hold and fee are two different things.
Commitment hold: a temporary authorization behind the plan. Service fee: a separate platform fee shown before confirmation.
When a hold is released, Dateposit asks the payment processor to remove the temporary authorization. Your bank/card issuer decides when the amount becomes available again.
Example
The consequence should be visible before you confirm.
Both check in
Hold release requested.
Cancel more than 4 hours before
Hold release requested under the standard rule.
Cancel 4 hours or less before
100% of the hold can be forfeited and Reliability Score can drop 10 points.
No-show
100% of the hold can be forfeited and Reliability Score can drop 10 points.
Vault Credits can be useful without pretending to be cash.
Eligible Vault Credits may be used toward future Dateposit commitment holds or approved digital rewards offered through the platform.
Credits cannot be withdrawn to a bank account or transferred to another user, and they may remain pending during settlement and fraud review.
Simple distinction
Your card hold is a payment authorization. Vault Credits are Dateposit-only credits. They are not the same thing.
